This information is mandatory ; otherwise, the document cannot be accepted for a refund.
Placing an order and completing its payment leads automatically to the full acceptance of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Service, and Transport in their entirety, as they are related to the hot air balloon rides tickets for the ENENVOL 2025 event.
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, Art. L121-21-8-12°, and its provisons, the right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure activities that are provided on a specific date within a determined period.
For any purchase order issued, the customer states that they were able to check the details and total price of their purchase and to correct any mistakes before confirming the purchase order, thus expressing their direct and explicit consent.
The prices include VAT as well as the third-party liability insurance for air transport.
Flight tickets:
Flight tickets are only issued upon receipt of an order and full payment. Payment methods include credit card, cash, or bank transfer. The flight ticket serves as proof that a contract has been concluded between the Customer and the company, including its subcontractors. Therefore, the third-party liability insurance is automatically taken out, as outlined by the Warsaw Convention (Regulations relating to International Air transport, 12th of October 1929)
These terms are contracted by the buyer, but the ticket can be transferred to someone else as a gift, as long as we, the company, are informed. Therefore, we consider that the ticket holder accepts our terms of sale.
A boarding pass will be issued in exchange for your ticket, which must be handed over to the pilot upon boarding.

The service includes:

  • Pickup at the designated meeting point at the balloon rides Ticketing and Information Desk
  • Access to the boarding area to watch the balloon preparation and inflation process
  • A safety briefing
  • A hot air balloon flight of variable duration
  • Post-flight packing operations
  • Return to the meeting point, and issuance of a flight certificate.
Since the flight is entirely subject to weather conditions, ENENVOL cannot guarantee any specific route or itinerary. The average flight duration is one hour.
The flight time is provided for informational purposes. The pilot may, depending on weather conditions, wind speed, and direction, decide to cancel the flight or shorten its duration if they deem it necessary for the safety of the passengers, the aircraft, or to comply with regulations
In the event of a shortened flight, no compensation will be provided. All flights are operated under VFR (Visual Flight Rules), as defined by the regulations of the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC)

Ticket validity, rescheduling, and cancellation policy:
Flight tickets validity goes from the 25th of July 2025 to the 3rd of August 2025. In the event of a flight cancellation due to safety, weather conditions, or any technical reasons, it can be rescheduled:
  • Postponement during the event, subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling to an annual flight ticket valid until July, 15th 2026. After this period, the voucher will expire.
  • Ticket refund: A 25€ fee will be deducted from the ticket price as part of the cancellation policy.

Insurance:
Coverage is provided in compliance with the Warsaw Convention’s requirements regarding passenger air transport. However,it is important to note that personal belongings, clothing damage, suicide, or self-inflicted injuries are not covered by the insurance. It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain additional insurance if they deem it necessary.
Boarding conditions:
Passengers must present a valid flight ticket to board a hot air balloon (the corresponding invoice must be fully paid beforehand by the passenger or a third party). As the event organiser, we, ENENVOL, and our partners operate under the regulations stated on the Warsaw Convention.
Licensed pilots are the only ones in command and, as such, they have authority over all the people on board. They have the right to deny boarding, or disembark any passenger or part of the cargo that could compromise safety, hygiene, or the smooth operation of the aircraft. Should this occur, the tickets will be deemed void.
For comfort and safety reasons, the company needs to know each passenger’s age and weight, clothing included, rounded up to the nearest 5 kg.
In case this form is not properly filled out, a default weight of 80 kg per passenger when calculating total mass will be used by the pilot. Should the actual weight be notably higher, the pilot may decide to deny boarding to a passenger.
Physical Condition:
Hot air ballooning is a physically demanding activity. Passengers must step over a 1.20 meter high basket to board. Takeoff and landing are particularly delicate, requiring the ability to handle potential bumps. The organiser as well as pilots are not qualified to assess passengers’ physical condition for a flight. Seeking medical advice in advance is the passenger’s responsibility. Since baskets are not equipped with dedicated seats, boarding is not permitted for pregnant women and people with reduced mobility, as well as any person under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Children:
Children under seven and shorter than 1.2 meters are not eligible for hot-air ballon flights. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of the majority. Providing the child’s exact age is the customer’s responsibility.
Clothing:
It is highly recommended to wear comfortable seasonal clothing and flat-heeld shoes. In leisure flights, the temperature difference with the ground is negligible. The cold may be felt only on the ground, in the early morning or after sunset. In the air, the temperature inside the balloon’s envelope is consistently around 90°C. For added comfort, taller passengers are encouraged to wear a headgear.
User data / Right of Access and Modification:
In accordance with the French law on data protection (Law No. 78-17 of 6 of January 1978), buyers personal data may be processed automatically. Buyers have the right to access, correct, and delete their data.
For smooth booking process and flight planning, the collected data is necessary. Some data is mandatory; without it, orders may be rendered impossible. The collected data will not be sold or shared with third parties.
Archiving and Evidence:
In accordance with Articles 1369-4 and 1348 of the French Civil Code, order forms and invoices will be archived by ENENVOL on a secure and lasting medium, ensuring a true copy. Orders will be archived for a period of 10 years, and remain available at any time.
Dispute:
Any dispute, claim, payment default or any other matter related to services will be handled by the courts of the company’s headquarters, unless public jurisdiction rules apply.
Mediator:
Travel, tourism, accommodation, leisure, and transport service providers have internal litigation and complaints department to which customers should turn to in case of dispute.
However, when they persist, disputes arising from contracts concluded between the professional and the consumer may be subject to optional and free mediation for the consumer.
How to reach for a Mediator:
The consumer must contact the company’s internal department responsible for dispute resolution in the event of a disagreement. If no satisfactory response is provided, or if there is no response at all within 60 days, the customer may contact the Tourism and Travel Mediator. Contact details and procedures for submitting a claim are available on their website: www.mtv.travel.
