Boarding conditions:
Passengers must present a valid flight ticket to board a hot air balloon (the corresponding invoice must be fully paid beforehand by the passenger or a third party). As the event organiser, we, ENENVOL, and our partners operate under the regulations stated on the Warsaw Convention.
Licensed pilots are the only ones in command and, as such, they have authority over all the people on board. They have the right to deny boarding, or disembark any passenger or part of the cargo that could compromise safety, hygiene, or the smooth operation of the aircraft. Should this occur, the tickets will be deemed void.
Only small personal items are allowed on board (such as cameras or handbags); any other luggage is excluded.
For comfort and safety reasons, the company needs to know each passenger’s age and weight, clothing included, rounded up to the nearest 5 kg.In case this form is not properly filled out, a default weight of 80 kg per passenger when calculating total mass will be used by the pilot. Should the actual weight be notably higher, the pilot may decide to deny boarding to a passenger.
Passengers must comply with all safety instructions given by the pilot before boarding.
It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED to smoke or vape in the vicinity of or on board the balloon during the flight, as well as throughout the complete deflation and packing process.
Passenger under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any psychoactive substance are not allowed to board.
Physical Condition:
Hot air ballooning is a physically demanding activity. Passengers must step over a 1.20 meter high basket to board. Takeoff and landing are particularly delicate, requiring the ability to handle potential bumps. The organiser as well as pilots are not qualified to assess passengers’ physical condition for a flight.
It is your responsibility to seek advice from your doctor if you have any concerns, or if you deem it necessary.
Each passenger is required to obtain medical clearance beforehand.
You are not permitted to fly in a hot air balloon if you suffer from a serious medical condition or have recently undergone surgery, unless you provide a certificate from your treating physician confirming your good health.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate:
- Pregnant women
- Persons with reduced mobility (as the baskets are not equipped with seating)
- Children under 6 years old (or those shorter than 1.20m)
- Individuals under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.
Children:
Children under seven and shorter than 1.2 meters are not eligible for hot-air ballon flights. All children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of the majority. Providing the child’s exact age is the customer’s responsibility.
Clothing:
It is highly recommended to wear comfortable seasonal clothing and flat-heeld shoes. In leisure flights, the temperature difference with the ground is negligible. The cold may be felt only on the ground, in the early morning or after sunset. In the air, the temperature inside the balloon’s envelope is consistently around 90°C. For added comfort, taller passengers are encouraged to wear a headgear.
